In celebration of the 50 years of Hip Hop, I’ve curated a mix with some throwbacks of note, and some future classics.
Hip Hop as a genre speaks truth to power. It can lift spirits, and it can get things lit as the kids would say. My aim today, was to put something people can bop to. A little dance and funk, showcase the evolution of that sound. I’ve thrown in some Run DMC, Kendrick Lamar, Missy Elliott, and more. I hope you enjoy this where ever you find yourself.
